Terms of Use
Last updated September 4, 2026.
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between Horizon AI Solutions, LLC (“Horizon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the individual accessing or using the Horizon platform, including the AI-assisted career guidance features made available through Vienna (collectively, the “Service”) (the “User”). By creating an account or otherwise accessing the Service, User agrees to be bound by these Terms. If User does not agree, User may not access or use the Service.
1. Pilot Status and Scope of Access
The Service is currently made available as an early-stage, pre-release pilot (the “Beta Service”). Horizon retains sole and absolute discretion as to what features, functionalities, or components of the Beta Service are made available to User at any time, and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Beta Service without notice.
Subject to User's compliance with these Terms, Horizon grants User a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable right to access and use the Beta Service solely for User's own personal, non-commercial use in connection with an account registered in User's name. Horizon hosts and retains control over the Beta Service and makes it available to User solely through a web browser or mobile device; nothing in these Terms obligates Horizon to deliver or make available any underlying software, source code, or object code. Horizon reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revoke User's access to and use of the Beta Service at any time.
2. What Horizon Provides
Horizon provides career guidance generated from User's self-reported interests, preferences, and stated background, incorporating labor market data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and O*NET together with AI-assisted analysis.
Horizon does not make, and is not used by any employer or institution to make, employment decisions of any kind; it functions solely as a personal guidance tool for the individual User. Horizon does not guarantee, and expressly disclaims, any specific career, salary, admission, or employment outcome. Horizon is not a substitute for professional career counseling, academic advising, or licensed guidance where such guidance is formally required.
3. Eligibility and User's Responsibilities
User must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to access or use the Service. By using the Service, User represents that User meets this requirement.
User agrees to provide accurate and truthful information; the accuracy of User's results depends on the accuracy of the information provided.
User will not share User's account credentials or access rights with any other individual, and will not attempt to access any other individual's account or data on the Service. Horizon may suspend or terminate User's access to the Service if User violates this provision or any other provision of these Terms, provided that any suspension will continue only as long as reasonably necessary for User to remedy the violation.
4. Feedback
If requested by Horizon, User agrees to provide suggestions, enhancement requests, and recommendations regarding the Service (collectively, “Feedback”), including information about the Service's performance, ease of use, missing features, and any bugs encountered. Horizon may, without restriction or payment to User, use, modify, and incorporate User's Feedback into the Service and into Horizon's other products and services.
5. Confidential Information
In the course of using the Beta Service, User may receive access to certain confidential, proprietary, or trade secret information relating to Horizon or the Beta Service (“Confidential Information”), including the features, functionality, and existence of unreleased features, and any related know-how, technical information, or business information made available to User. User agrees not to disclose any Confidential Information to any third party without Horizon's express prior written consent, except to the extent such information (a) becomes generally available to the public through no act or omission of User; (b) is rightfully received by User from a third party without restriction and without a duty of confidentiality; or (c) is independently developed by User without reliance on any Confidential Information. Upon request by Horizon, User agrees to return or destroy all Confidential Information in User's possession and will not duplicate, copy, disassemble, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the Beta Service or any Confidential Information.
6. Third-Party Integrations
The Service uses artificial intelligence models provided by Anthropic (Claude) to generate User's results and roadmap. User consents to the sharing of information User provides to the Service with this third-party provider for the purpose of delivering the Service, and Anthropic's own data handling terms apply independently to this processing. If Horizon integrates with additional third-party services in the future, User's continued use of the Service constitutes consent to the sharing of applicable information with those services as necessary to provide the Service.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” HORIZON MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY REPRESENTATION THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HORIZON DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED OR STATUTORY WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE SERVICE IS A PRE-RELEASE OFFERING, IS EXPECTED TO CONTAIN DEFECTS WHICH MAY BE MATERIAL, AND IS NOT EXPECTED TO OPERATE AT THE LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE OR RELIABILITY OF A FINAL, GENERALLY AVAILABLE PRODUCT. THE SERVICE MAY NOT OPERATE ACCURATELY AND MAY BE SUBSTANTIALLY MODIFIED OR WITHDRAWN AT ANY TIME. USER'S ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SERVICE IS ENTIRELY AT USER'S OWN RISK. IN NO EVENT SHALL HORIZON BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF USER'S USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF HORIZON HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. USER IS ADVISED TO USE CAUTION AND NOT TO RELY ON THE SERVICE FOR CAREER, EDUCATIONAL, OR FINANCIAL DECISIONS WITHOUT USER'S OWN INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT.
8. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
Horizon and Horizon AI Solutions, LLC are not liable for any decision made based on information provided by the Service. Career, educational, and financial decisions should be made using User's own independent judgment, ideally in consultation with qualified advisors where appropriate.
User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Horizon, its officers, and its employees from any losses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from any third-party claim related to User's access to, use of, or misuse of the Service, or any act or omission by User in violation of these Terms.
9. Changes and Termination
As a pilot offering, the Service may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time in Horizon's sole discretion. User may stop using the Service and delete User's account at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy.
